Because it’s this kind of epic randomness this Tumblr thing is all about right? These are my three absolutely favourite teas of all time - and you might think, what? Tea? Why is THAT so important? But let me tell you… as a foreigner in the UK, finding tea that I actually like has become something of a quest for me. I don’t traditionally put milk in my tea (with one exception, see below), but Brits do, therefore they actually make their tea bags stronger!

But here are my go-to three that I absolutely love - and yes, I guess I am a bit of a snob when it comes to brands. Note: I usually use sweetener in my tea. This may have affected my choices.

#1: Prince Vladimir, Kusmi Tea

Kusmi is one of the most highbrow tea brands on the market, and I’ve been lucky enough to try a lot of their flavours in a tasting pack my mum once got for Christmas. Prince Vladimir was my absolute favourite, with its mild vanilla and zesty taste.

#2: Peppermint, TeaPigs

I have searched long and hard for the perfect peppermint tea. It’s probably my favourite type, but it’s also an easy flavour to get wrong: either it’s too dark, too weak, too bitter or too sour. But TeaPigs’ version is divine. A lot of their teas are a little too out there for me (if you think, like I once did, that popcorn tea is so weird it must be good, you are wrong), but their peppermint flavour is spot on. Perfect for evenings.

#3: Spicy Chai, Pickwick

This is one of the teas I most often ask my mum to import for me. I adore chai tea, but like with peppermint it’s so easy to get wrong. But this chai coupled with a bit of milk and sweetener forms the perfect blend, which is better than both Starbucks and Cafe Nero’s chai lattes.

Don’t you feel like you know me so much better now? It’s a fun meme though - maybe next I’ll do coffee!

Whatever the question, YOGA is the answer. I’m not trying to be pretentious or anything… it’s just true. :D

wulfricbriandumbledore said: Did you like One Day?

I LOVED One Day. Without spoiling, I’ll say that I was very put off by the ending at first, but once I thought about it for a bit, I realised that it says a lot about how no matter what happens, it’s about the journey, and those fleeting moments that all make up the story.

Today I was feeling crafty. One of my housemates went home last month and in a random act of kindness (or… something) she left me a bag of oatmeal. In retrospect don’t think she liked me much. But the joke’s on her, because today I bought a pot of honey and made myself a delicious face mask!

You can put a lot of different ingredients in an oatmeal face mask: pure cocoa powder, egg yolk, avocado, sunflower oil, butter, banana, lemon, yoghurt, the list goes on. But I opted for:

- Oatmeal
- Water
- Acacia honey
- Blueberries

I don’t have a blender so I just mushed it all together with my hands, but blend if possible for a paste that will more thoroughly cover your face!

I put oatmeal in a bowl, then added water until it was “squishable.” I added two teaspoons of honey and a handful of blueberries, and voila! Left it on for about 15 minutes and rinsed off. I felt like a particularly self-sufficient medieval princess. Excuse me while I go put on my embroidered silk dress and braid my waist-length hair.

I recommend following your facial by using an oil-free face cream.

Is there a song more beautiful in its simplicity? I love it.
